Yu H, Zheng Y, Luo Y, Chang H, He D. A photonic crystal-based fluorescent sensing platform for visual detection of influenza A via hybridization chain reaction-mediated formation of polymer DNAzyme nanostructures. Anal Methods. 2026 Aug 18
Herein, we develop a robust fluorescent sensing platform based on functional photonic crystals (PCs) to achieve naked-eye visual detection of influenza A (H1N1) virus at an LOD of 0.32 pg mL-1. Benefiting from the synergistic combination of two efficient enzyme-free amplification strategies, hybridization chain reaction (HCR) and DNAzyme-mediated catalytic cleavage, this biosensor achieves prominent signal amplification and reliable target identification.
