According to the announcement of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Health and Family Planning Commission, a human H5N6 case was confirmed in Liuzhou.

The patient, Surname Zeng, female farmer, lived in Dajiang town of RongAn county of Liuzhou city, 30 years old. She developed symptoms on November 8 and was hospitalised on November 18. She is now in a serious condition. The patient had contact with dead poultry before the onset of symptoms.
