China:mild influenza A virus(H1N1) activity in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province

From the report of Shenzhen CDC, only 15 Influenza cases (reported) from Feb to Mar so far. Shenzhen had milder influenza activity compared with same period last year. And H1(N1) were the dominant isolates, differed from last year´s H3N2.
Over 400,000 doses of vaccine were used so far, so the vaccination would provide some protect to the people in Shenzhen, according to the expert in Shenzhen CDC. (Shenzhen has a population of ten million)
