On 2 November, 2026, APHIS reported 14 wild birds (Green-winged teal(2), Northern pintail(5), Northern shoveler(4), Mallard(3)) collected on 17 October in 2026 tested positive for EA H5 HPAI strain in (Marion(2), Ottawa(12))counties, Ohio.
