On 24 September, 2026, APHIS reported 7 dead wild birds collected from 18 September to 21 September in 2026 (Bald eagle, Canada goose, Wood duck) tested positive for EA H5 HPAI strain in (Washington, Ramsey, Hennepin, Anoka) counties, Minnestoa.
