USDA: HPAI detection in Indiana

On 30 September, 2026, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has confirmed the detection of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in commercial duck meat bird (24300 birds affected) in Jay County, Indiana.
