USDA: HPAI cases in Utah in July, 2026

In July, 2026, APHIS reported several mammals (domestic cat, striped skunks) tested positive for EA H5N1 HPAI strain in Cache county, Utah.

In July, 2026, APHIS reported 2 backyard flocks (commercial table egg pullets, commercial table egg layer) tested positive for HPAI in Cache county, Utah, where 1.49 million birds affected.

In July, 2026, APHIS reported 10 herds (dairy milking cows) tested positive for HPAI in Utah.
