Depopulation and burial on the first affected property is complete. Disinfection is in progress. Depopulation of the second affected property is complete. Off-site disposal is continuing. A third property with no livestock - a composting site with known high risk trace to the second infected property - has confirmed molecular evidence of H7 influenza A and is also under quarantine. A fourth property located within the restricted area was confirmed on 25 August. Depopulation has commenced. Surveillance both within and outside the restricted area is ongoing. | |
