Affected population On 9th of August, a mute swan (Cygnus olor) was found dead on a beach near the city Kors鴕 in the municipality Slagelse. On 15th of August the national veterinary institute confirmed highly pathogenic influenza A virus (H5N6) in the samples from the swan.
