Epidemiological comments Commercial broiler chicken of 5 weeks old started exhibiting symptoms of dullness, off-fed dysponea, and sudden death. Dead birds were disposed of properly. A total of 4,660 commercial broiler, 75 backyard chicken and 512 kg of feed have been destroyed and disposed by the Rapid Response Team. Stamping out operation, cleaning and disinfection, sealing of infected premises have been completed. Post operation surveillance outside the containment area is ongoing. Further details will be sent in follow-up reports.
