Epidemiological comments |
No new outbreaks have been detected around the index outbreak. The index outbreak is closed. Three new outbreaks have been confirmed positive for avian influenza (H5N2); one of them is resolved. The other outbreaks are under official control until all control measures have been implemented. Surveillance is still on-going in the outbreak area (1 km) and in the area around the outbreaks (3-5 km), including screening and traceability. | |
