China: Xinjiang reported one human H7N9 AIV fatal case

Xinjiang Contrustion Corp reported one human H7N9 AIV fatal case on 30th June, 2017. This is the first human H7N9 AIV case reported by Xinjiang Construstion Corp in 2017. The 35-year-old male patient,surname Yuan, lived in Kuitun city. He had engaged in selling and slaughtering live chickens at local live poultry market with his parents. The patient had onset of ILI symptoms(fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue and shivering) on June 23, he was reported as suspected human H7N9 case on 29th June, his samples test positive for H7N9 by CDC on 30th June and he subsequently passed away on the night dued to respiratory failure.All close contacts are under medical monitoring.
