China: Yunnan reported four human H7N9 AIV cases

According to the HFPC of Yunnan province on 28th June 2017, during the enhanced influenza and unknown pneumonia surveillance, four human H7N9 cases were reported by local CDC and reconfirmed by national CDC. All four cases were reported in Wenshan city, and these were the first report of local human H7N9 AIV case in Yunnan since 2017. One patient recovered and had been discharged from hospital, while other three patients (in stable condition)remained in designated hospital for treatment and quarantine. There were no envidence of human-to-human transmission so far. All close contacts were under medical monitoring and no one showed ILI symptoms so far. Wenshan city closed live poultry market since 25th June accordingly.
