According to the authority, Yantan district of Zigong city reported one human H7N9 AIV case on 24th May, this is the second human H7N9 AIV case reported in Zigong city. The 63-year-old male, surname Zeng, had raised 35 chicken and ducks by himself, had live poultry contact history, was in stable condition and remained in designated hospital for treatment and qurantine. All close contacts showed no ILI symptoms so far.

Sichuan province has reported 34 human H7N9 AIV cases so far.
