According to the HFPC of Sichuan province, Sichuan province reported one new human H7N9 AIV cases on 16th May. Sichuan province has reported 32 human H7N9 AIV cases since 2017.

The 64-year-old female, surname Jin, resident of Xiaojin county of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, in critical condition and remained in designated hospital in Chengdu for treatment. All close contacts showed no ILI symptoms so far.
