China: Macao confirmed an imported case of human H7N9 AIV

The Health Bureau of Macao confirmed an imported case of avian influenza A (H7N9) virus. The patient, 72-year-old female, resident of Macao, had chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, lived in Guinanmaxi Village of Wuguishan town in Zhongshan city; Onset of symptoms such as fever and cough on 8th, Jan, after brief treatment in local hospital, the patient s relatives drove her back to the Gongbei port and went to Emergency of CHCSJ for treatment. The patient was cofirmed positive to H7N9 on 12th, Jan and remained in quarantine ward for treatment.
