Egypt reported one new bird flu infection on 24 February 2010 taking the tally to 103.

A Health Ministry statement said a 14-month-old child from Qalyubia governorate was tested N5N1 positive.
The boy administered the anti-viral drug Tamiflu and he is in stable health condition, according to the statement.
